This is definitely a must watch not just for everyone interested in history but for all you time travelers out there who found

The British Pathé archive is the largest archive of history on YouTube. Take some procrastination time and explore more than 80,000 videos of filmed history.

Here some great example for Hamburg & Berlin:

Die Kalte Katastrophe Aka Hamburg Winter 46/47 (1947): Hamburg, Germany. Scenes taken in Hamburg during the cold spell.

Hamburg: Big Beat At The Star Club (1964): VS Good shots of teenagers in the Star Club in Hamburg [Home of The Beatles in their early years] jumping and jiving about, screaming and shaking their heads. VS Young musical groups on stage entertaining the youngsters with their rhythm and blues and rock and roll music. It seems to be kind of German rock and roll band competition. 

Berlin Wall Erected (1961). A Day that Shook the World [HD]. In August 1961, troops in East Germany began to seal the border between East and West Berlin. In doing so they blocked off the escape route for refugees from the East. The barrier ended up being 12 feet high and 66 miles long with a further 41 miles of barbed wire fencing. Over the years, nearly 200 people died trying to cross the wall. It became a symbol for the divided world.
A Day That Shook The World is the classic series that recalls the days of the 20th century that proved to be era-defining and pivotal in the course of modern history.
